When: Sunday August 2, 10am-12:30pm
Where: Halikarnas Turkish Restaurant: 71/73 Lygon St, Brunswick East VIC 3057
Step into the warmth and wonder of Türkiye, where ancient traditions, timeless artistry and generous hospitality weave together to create a culture rich in beauty, story and connection!
We’ll begin the morning with a traditional warming cup of sahlep ~ a delicate vanilla infused drink made from wild orchids. This unique drink is not available on the menu, and will be specially prepared for us by Chef Sibel, who will also share a little about this beloved Turkish tradition.
Then, you’ll paint your own large handcrafted ceramic tumbler (perfect for sahlep!) in your choice of colours, creating a unique piece that reflects your own style and creativity, with inspiration from Türkiye, the heart of the anicent Silk Road.
Afterwards, we’ll gather around the table for a generous Turkish breakfast of homemade breads, cheeses, baked eggs, sucuk, honey, spreads, and endless Turkish tea.
A magical morning of creativity, culture, and connection. Let us transport you. ✨🧿🩵
Gift vouchers available — simply leave a note at checkout.
