The Fertile Crescent (~8000BCE) is an ancient geographic region rich in fertile land and home to some of the oldest, most established civilisations worldwide. 

The area was formed by the Tigris, Euphrates and Nile rivers as well as the Mediterranean Sea, and together they established a fixed base for humanity to thrive and prosper.

Such a favourable environment gave rise to abundant agriculture where figs, pomegranate, date palms and pistachio groves flourished, as well as systems rich in trade, the exchanging of cultures, and the birthplace of innovations still used today.

This region and moment in time reflecting prosperity and advancement has been aptly coined “The Cradle of Civilisation.”
